Each year, Preservation Action hosts in conjunction with the National Conference of State Historic Preservation Officers (NCSHPO) a three-day program in Washington D.C. consisting of annual meetings, legislative briefings, advocacy training, and coordinated visits to the Congressional offices.

With partisan gridlock becoming the norm and the Federal Historic Tax Credit threatened, it is more important than ever that we communicate the economic importance and benefits of historic preservation.  As programs are scrutinized for spending cuts we must make the case that protecting our national heritage, as well as investing in it, continues to make sense!
