Exciting news for NAPC! We are delighted to announce the appointment of Paige Pollard as our new Executive Director effective September 8. Paige is a former NAPC board member and owner of Commonwealth Preservation Group in Norfolk. Paige was our local host for FORUM in 2012. She holds a masters in historic preservation from UGA and brings a wealth of expertise to this position. We are thrilled to welcome our new Executive Director on board.
With Paige’s office established in a lovely historic district in Norfolk, we have decided to relocate the NAPC there as well. Our new home is one street over from the Sheraton if you happened to visit the area at the last FORUM in Norfolk.
We have been generously hosted by the University of Georgia and remain indebted for their steadfast support and especially the guidance provided by Pratt Cassity. Dean Nadenicek has been a strong advocate for the work of our organization and mission.
The office in Athens will close at 5 PM on Friday, August 29 and will re-open in Norfolk on Monday, September 8 with Paige at the helm. Paul and Kate continue to provide assistance during the transition for which we are most appreciative.
