Education and training are two major components of NAPC’s mission. Local historic preservation commission members and municipal staff work on the front lines every day, and we support them with programs that provide vital knowledge, hands-on experience, resources, and opportunities to connect with other preservation experts.
- CAMP® (Commission Assistance and Mentoring Program): Our signature training program, which sends expert speakers to your community for a day or day-and-a-half workshop to address fundamental issues related to historic preservation commissions.
- FORUM: NAPC’s biennial conference, bringing together commission members, staff, and preservation advocate from across the country for a week of education, networking, and fun.
- The Alliance Review: This quarterly publication provides timely articles on the issues local commissions and staff are facing.
